Four Seasons
One deep breath of these leaves and you will think you have been transported to a Taiwanese gardenia field!
One deep breath of these leaves and you will think you have been transported to a Taiwanese gardenia field!
While the leaves are tightly rolled in a traditional Taiwanes fashion, you can't help but notice the variations of green that appear. Black, dark green and light green leaves make for a beautiful beginning to an extremely aromatic tea. Aptly named, Four Seasons provides the growers with four flushes characteristic of Spring: intensely reminiscent of gardenias and light bodied with bright notes. This tea is ideal for 3+ infusions. The steeping time and temperatures below are simply a starting point for brewing and we recommend that you adjust those specs to suit your palate!
This tea has been harvested from the YiPingChun tea garden in Nantou, Taiwan (1500m above sea level). The Tea Master for this garden is Zhi Xing Chen. YiPingChun is approximately 35 hectares and began producing top quality Taiwanese oolongs in 2010.
